Moscow will reconsider its position in the Ukrainian peace talks, the Kremlin said, blaming Kiev for a drone attack on one of the Russian presidential residences.
Vladimir Putin informed his American counterpart Donald Trump about the change in the Russian attitude towards the talks.
According to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Ukraine attempted to attack Putin's residence in the Novgorod region with at least 90 long-range drones.
It is not clear whether the Russian President was inside the house at the time.
According to the Interfax news agency, the head of Russian diplomacy reportedly warned that such reckless actions will not go unanswered.
The Russian accusations were rejected by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who argued that Moscow, with "another round of lies", is trying to undermine the progress achieved in the peace talks.
