Nicosia municipality published details about how the new underground parking under the park works on the site of the former GSP stadium. If you go to the center of the capital for an event or just for a walk, then this information will come in handy.
Paid parking under the park (on the map) will open on July 7. Entrance to the parking lot is carried out from Grigory Afxentu Street. This is an absolutely automated and client -oriented system. Drivers do not need to specially take a ticket or pay for parking in cash - everything is done automatically, and payment is made using a bank card or mobile application.
Here are the tariffs in the parking lot: - up to 30 minutes for free - up to 1 hour € 2.00 - up to 3 hours € 3.00 - up to 5 hours € 4.00 - up to 7 hours € 5.00 - up to 10 hours € 6.00 - more than 10 hours - € 6.00 + € 1.00 per hour.
It is also possible to arrange a monthly subscription for € 60, but only if you work nearby.
The system operates as follows: - The car drives up to the entrance, the camera reads a license plate, the barrier is opened to the entrance. The entry time is recorded automatically; - on the exit you apply a bank card to the machine and the barrier rises.
Payment is also possible using the Sensipark mobile application, which is available for iOS and Android.
