Calm prevailed throughout the day in the dead zone in Mammari, after yesterday's episode with the provocations of the Turkish troops against Greek Cypriot farmers, Nikos Kotziapasiis, President of the Community Council, told KYPE.
He said that today the farmers did not go to the area and that the Community Council is in contact with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Police.
He also said that today the United Nations was patrolling the area with vehicles and a helicopter.
