Who can receive a state allowance for a kindergarten

The state will cover payment for visiting preschool and food for 21,000 children in the 2025-2026 academic year. This was reported by the Ministry of Finance. Who has the right to receive benefits and how will it be paid?

The program is implemented by the subinistent of social security in the framework of the European project “Talia 2021-2027”. It is aimed at ensuring equal in possible in the sector of preschool education, reducing the risk of children's poverty and social isolation and creating a base for a more inclusive society. The program budget is 73 million euros, from the bottom of 43.8 million euros will come from the European Union.

The beneficiaries will be applicants who meet the following criteria:

- He approved the child allowance for 2025; - they meet the criteria of income; - kindergarten where the child will go, participates in the program (the list can be seen here); - the child is not four years old as of August 31, 2025.

The subsidy is assigned to each child separately and is paid directly to service suppliers in order to ensure the coverage of only their expenses.

The total amount depends on the income of the household, the size of the family and age of the child.

For children under the age of two years, the allowance can reach 350 euros per month, for children over two years old - 250 euros. For those who visit the extended day programs, 50 euros are paid additionally.

The portal for filing applications was opened on September 1. Payments begin per month of submitting an application and continue until the end of the school year, during which the child is four years old.
