Ten million people may have to leave Tehran if it doesn't rain by the end of the year, Iran's President Massoud Pezheskian warned in a televised address on the country's water crisis.
It is the worst drought in decades, with the Iranian capital facing a phenomenon not seen in a century.
However, Pezeskian did not specify how a city of ten million can be evacuated.
The director of the capital's water company said last Sunday that the city would run out of drinking water within two weeks.
