The Cyprus Maritime Academy

The training provided is in accordance with the standards of the United Nations International Maritime Organisation (IMO), and in full compliance with the provisions set out by the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW)

The main aim of the BSc in Nautical Science programme is to provide students with the essential knowledge and practical skills required for a professional career in the maritime industry. The programme focuses on preparing students to become competent and qualified deck officers, capable of handling the responsibilities of navigation, cargo handling and ship management on merchant marine vessels. Through a combination of academic coursework and hands-on training, graduates are equipped to meet the industry’s high standards and advance in maritime careers.
