On Sunday, August 24, during a football match between Krasava and the Apoel, an Ammonostos stadium was posted with insulting expressions. Larnaki police launched an investigation.
The banner, hung in the Apoel fans sector, contained an inscription in Greek: "Turkish fiddle fidias, disgrace of Cyprus." According to the police, the message was sent against Fidias to Panayota.
The incident occurred after the journalist and historian Mikhalis Michael in the Podkast, organized by the Euro -deputy, commented on the circumstances of the death of Grigoris Afxentu.
The case is being investigated in the framework of the Law on the Prevention and Prevent of violence at sports facilities in 2008, which prohibits racist and insulting slogans.
