Optimistic messages for investment activity in Cyprus emerge from a survey by the European Investment Bank.
According to the results, Cypriot businesses invest, innovate and remain resilient, although the overall climate is more cautious compared to the European Union average.
94% of Cypriot businesses made investments during the current financial year, a percentage increased compared to 2024 and higher by 8 percentage points than the European average.
It is also shown that Cypriot companies are among the most active international trade actors in the European Union, with 81% active in cross-border trade.
Service companies have the highest percentage of international trade activity, reaching 95%.
The Vice President of EBRD, Marek Mora, expressed the Bank's readiness to support Cypriot companies, as they contribute to Europe's competitiveness.
