In Spain, around 400 storks were found dead, victims of bird flu, along a river in the Madrid region.
As announced by the authorities of the Spanish capital, further tests are being carried out after the detection of a large number of dead storks on the banks of the river, noting that if the alarming data is confirmed, then surveillance measures will be strengthened. The announcement notes that bird flu cannot be transmitted to humans through the consumption of poultry products, but only through mucous membranes.
