On Monday, August 19, around 7 a.m., a Wizzair plane flying from Warsaw to Larnaca with 220 passengers on board was forced to make an unscheduled landing at Warsaw airport.
According to the representative of the press service of the Chopin Airport, Piotr Rudzki, the cause of the emergency landing was the co-pilot's fainting.
Despite the incident, the landing was successful and none of the passengers or crew were injured. The fire brigade was at the scene of the incident to ensure the safety of the plane's landing.
