The initiative of the Republic of Cyprus, which relates to security, the rebuilding of Gaza and the humanitarian sector, was presented by the President of the Republic, during his contacts at the Sarm El Sheikh meeting.
In statements on the sidelines of the meeting, Nikos Christodoulides said he had a plan of six proposals, noting that this initiative is always on the basis of the US president's plan.
He pointed out that the Republic of Cyprus, which assumes the presidency of the European Union in the first half of the following year, maintains excellent relations with all neighboring states.
He also said that he informed the President of the European Commission and the leaders of the Member States.
