A football player from the ENP club (Paralimni) died as a result of an accident in Cyprus

On the morning of August 20, 20-year-old football player of the Enosis Neon Paralimni club Paul Julius died as a result of an accident in Cyprus. The fatal traffic accident occurred at around 06:30 on Protaras Avenue in Paralimni.

According to the police, Julius, driving a car, was moving in the direction of Paralimni - Protaras. On one section of the road, before the Kamitsi traffic light, he lost control of his vehicle, drove into the oncoming lane and collided head-on with another car.

Both drivers were injured and were taken to the Famagusta General Hospital in Paralimni. Doctors declared Julius dead, the second driver is out of danger.

The football community in Cyprus mourns the death of the player.
