In Limassol, foreigners were kicked out of a picnic for frying barbecue in a pure Monday

On March 3, in Limassol there was an incident related to the celebration of pure Monday.

A group of foreigners fried sheshlyk, which caused the rage of Cypriots present. Several people approached lovers of fried meat and popularly explained to them that such a dish did not place in their meadow, after which they asked foreigners to get out of the player picnic and take barbecue with them.

Pure Monday is a traditional holiday that marks the beginning of a great post.

On this day, the Cypriots go to nature to spend time with the family and enjoy traditional lean foods. The traditional treat of pure Monday is considered to be a special non -alternate bread of Lagan - a flat and fresh buns, dumped in sesame seeds.

In pure Monday, meat and fish in all types are excluded from the diet. Purely vegetarian nutrition is supposed throughout the post. However, the Greeks in cases where it is beneficial, become terrible pedants. And since the fish is forbidden, it is replaced by octopuses, mussels and all sorts of other Seafood naval reptiles, about which there is not a word in the Scripture.
