In Larnaca on October 8, at around 9 a.m., a 79-year-old man was killed when he was hit by a concrete mixer. The accident occurred on Griva Digeni Avenue when Trifonas Papachristoforou was crossing the road.
The man was urgently taken to the Larnaca hospital with severe injuries, where, despite all the efforts of the doctors, he died. It is noted that the concrete mixer was driven by a 42-year-old driver. Larnaca Traffic Police are continuing their investigation into a criminal offence.
