The Easyjet aircraft made an emergency landing at Larnaki Airport on Thursday evening, on March 6, after the passenger became ill.
The company apologized to the rest of the passengers, and the EZY2252 flight was redirected to Larnaca. The flight to Manchester (Great Britain), whose departure from Hurghade (Egypt) was scheduled at 20:55, was detained until 21:21. Two after the beginning of the flight, one of the passengers became ill, so the plane landed in Larnaca at 23:45.
According to Flightaware, the plane flew again at 1:05 am on Friday, March 7, and landed in Manchester at 3:24 a.m.. The representative of Easyjet confirmed that the flight was changed due to the fact that one of the passengers required medical care. The passenger was transferred to medical services in Cyprus, and the plane flew to the destination.
