Two men who fired shots in the air at a wedding reception in Mesogi, near Paphos, are set to face trial on October 10, Paphos district court ruled on Tuesday.
The suspects are facing charges related to the illegal possession, transport, and use of a firearm and explosives, as well as discharging a firearm.
The court ordered that the two young men be released until the trial begins.
The police launched an investigation after receiving information about a video posted on social media.
The footage reportedly shows gunfire during a wedding celebration that took place on August 24 in the village.
