North of the village of Dierona in the outskirts of Limassol there is an ancient bridge connecting the banks of the Amatos River. It is made of stone, with a double arch, and stands next to the ruins of an old mill.
In the last century, the bridge served as a crossing for local residents, who were allowed to grind wheat at the mill on the opposite bank of the river.

Since the mill is no longer in operation, the bridge is now rarely used, but the views in the area around the bridge still amaze visitors, especially during the winter rains when the river becomes very watery.
