Cyprus passport ranked 14th in Henley Passport Index

The Cyprus passport was ranked 14th out of 199 in the international Henley Passport Index 2025, down from 12th position in 2024.

Today, citizens of Cyprus can travel without a visa to 178 countries, which is four destinations less than a year earlier. Over the past five years, the position of the Cypriot passport in the ranking has fluctuated: 15th place in 2020 and 2021, 16th place in 2023, and now 14th in 2025.

Henley & Partners is an international consulting company in the field of citizenship and investment immigration. Every year it publishes the Henley Passport Index - the official ranking of the world's passports by "strength", based on data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
