A small earthquake occurred in Cyprus

On Sunday, at 13:08, residents of various areas of Cyrene felt underground shocks.

According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC), the epicenter of the earthquake was about 28 km southwest of Nikosia. Magnituda amounted to 3.0 points on the Richter scale, and the depth of the focus - 15.6 km.

The first impetus was recorded at 13:07, after which seismic activity spread to nearby regions. Despite the slight power, the inhabitants felt fluctuations, especially in multi -storey buildings.

At the moment, there is no data on destruction and victims. Experts continue to monitor the situation.
