Vacationers on the famous Governor's Beach in Limassol experienced real horror and disgust!
On the morning of October 24, dozens of dead fish washed ashore. According to shocked eyewitnesses, the entire coastline was littered with rotting bodies, and the smell of decomposition spread for hundreds of meters.
Eyewitnesses posted photographs and videos of the horrific incident online, which instantly caused a wave of indignation on social networks. Many of the swimmers hastily left the beach, fearing for their health and demanding immediate explanations from the authorities. The cause of the massive fish death remains unknown, and local residents are worried about a possible environmental disaster.
“We came to enjoy the sea, but ended up in a horror film! What’s going on?!” — one of the tourists, who was relaxing on the beach with her family, shared indignantly.
Local environmentalists are sounding the alarm, and Limassol residents are demanding immediate government intervention and clarification.
