The United States Federal Reserve decided to cut interest rates by 25 basis points.
This is the third consecutive rate cut, which many analysts took for granted.
According to US reports, the decision was made by majority vote and not unanimously, as three members of the relevant committee expressed different opinions.
Officials of the central bank of the United States estimate that within 2026, another reduction in interest rates may be necessary.
