GYMNASIUM: Sports. Emotions. Intelligence.

GYMNASIUM sports schools are an ecosystem built around Brazilian jiu-jitsu. This is a model of communication, the development of emotional intelligence and the comprehensive development of a child's personality, in which BJJ is one of the tools.

The concept of GYMNASIUM lies in the author’s methodology, according to which children, through sports, develop the entire range of soft skills necessary for self-realization.

At GYMNASIUM there are no coaches whose goal is to instill exclusively sports skills in children. The school team is sensitive mentors who raise people who are strong in spirit and body.

Thanks to a careful approach to the sports education of the future generation, a team of professionals achieves its main goal year after year - developing success skills and instilling moral values in children.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a sports discipline that is designed to help a less physically developed person defeat a larger opponent.

The specificity of martial arts lies in the fact that a child, while developing physically, grows as a person.

Brazilian jiu-jitsu is, first of all, working on yourself, on self-confidence.

Mentors not only teach children to master martial arts techniques, but also help children gain the ability to manage their behavior and make decisions.

Jiu-Jitsu training at GYMNASIUM consists of three sports rounds on the tatami and one round dedicated to the development of emotional intelligence.

First of all, mentors teach children to express their feelings and emotions in words.

A child who, after crying, may admit that he is tired or sad because, for example, he did not manage to win a competition, is easier to bring out of an emotional tailspin.

Emotional awareness is the first step to high EQ.

The next stage is the formation of the skill to understand the feelings of others, read people’s emotions and mood by facial expressions, postures, gestures, and be able to determine the cause and effect of human reactions.

Over the course of the year, children study themselves, their emotions and feelings, try to hear and understand each other, understand what humanity, kindness, selflessness and honesty are.

Mentors help children gain an understanding of what responsibility and initiative are, explain what motivation and focus on results are.

Weekly careful work with children and their emotional state, careful observation of changes in behavior, analysis of conflict situations during rounds and general team work help develop important skills in young athletes that will help them reach a high-quality standard of living in the future.
