Belgian band AMENRA will perform in Cyprus for the first time

AMENRA was formed in 1999 in Kortrijk and over the years has created its own sound, mixing post-metal, sludge and hardcore, filled with emotion, spirituality and power. The core of AMENRA's work is the Mass series of albums exploring suffering, healing and transcendence.

AMENRA's performances feature powerful visual art, often incorporating harsh lighting, slow motion projections and symbolic imagery. Their shows feel like collective catharsis, combining crushing heaviness with moments of fragile silence. It's more of a physical and emotional experience than a concert in the traditional sense. The group often performs with their backs turned to the audience, emphasizing humility and ritual rather than their egos. With sold-out shows around the world and performances at some of the world's most prestigious festivals including Hellfest, Graspop, Roadburn, Rock Werchter, Desertfest and Pukkelpop, AMENRA will take the stage in Downtown Nicosia in 2026.
