An International Poster Competition entitled “Poetry Speaks Loud – A Poster for a Poet” has been announced, which is part of the activities of the 12th ConFest Graphic Stories – Shaping Stories, Growing Futures, which will take place in 2026. 

Applications are accepted until February 28, 2026.

According to an announcement by the organizer which is Graphic Stories Cyprus & Design Forum, "the competition invites professionals and students of design, visual arts and visual communication to create a poster for a poet or a poem of their choice, bringing poetry into the public space through the power of image and typography".

Through this creative process, poetry meets design and emerges as a carrier of cultural heritage, a bridge between arts, languages ​​and cultures.

The exhibition with the 50 distinguished posters and the 4 winners will be presented in two cities of Cyprus in 2026, as part of the festival's activities.

The total value of prizes and gifts amounts to €3000. Submission of entries exclusively through www.graphicstories.org
