The first ground strike on Venezuelan soil as part of the US military campaign to combat drug trafficking, Donald Trump announced.
The American President said that the United States destroyed a wharf in Venezuela that was used by boats that, according to Washington, were involved in the drug trade. At the same time, the armed forces of the United States announced that they had killed two men who, according to Washington, were transporting drugs in international waters in the eastern Pacific Ocean. As noted by the joint command of the American armed forces, on the order of the Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, a strike was launched against a vessel operated by a foreign terrorist organization.
Since the beginning of September, the armed forces have bombed dozens of vessels that Washington claims were transporting drugs through the Caribbean and the Eastern Pacific. At least 107 people were killed in the bombings.
