Min. Health: 110,000 citizens were vaccinated against seasonal flu

The Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Health, Elisavet Constantinou, said that so far about 110,000 citizens have been vaccinated against the seasonal flu, including 75% of vulnerable groups of the population.

At the same time, he noted that the response to the vaccination against the coronavirus remains low this year, after only 3,800 people received the vaccine.

Regarding patient admissions to public and private hospitals, Mrs. Constantinou said that in the last few days the numbers have doubled.

Currently, admissions to intensive care units remain stable.
