The President of the Republic had a telephone conversation with the President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed bin Zayed al -Nachian, in the context of his contacts, on the latest developments in the Middle East.
According to a written statement by the government spokesman, President Christodoulides welcomed the agreement, underlining the importance of its full implementation.
The two leaders exchanged views on the prospects of strengthening cooperation between the two countries, especially in the humanitarian dimension and rebuilding of Gaza.
Yesterday the president had corresponding communications with the Prime Minister of Israel, the President of Egypt and the President of the European Council.
