23 million euros will be spent on the Limassol Hospital, emphasizes the Minister of Health

Within the first quarter of 2026, specific improvements are underway in key sections of the Limassol General Hospital, such as pediatrics, orthopedics, chemistry, radiology, outpatient clinics, as well as the entrance of the infirmary, said the Minister of Health, Neophytos Charalambidis.

During his visit to the hospital, he stated that the specific interventions will benefit both the patients and the staff.

He also said that he is in the process of implementing a large development involving infrastructure projects of more than 23 million euros, which he stressed are sufficient to meet current needs.

Regarding the shortage of nurses, he said that within a month a new meeting will be held to evaluate all suggestions from the parties involved and solutions to the problem will be sought.
