Following the launch of the fire in the Gaza Strip, the United Nations World Food Program, based in Rome, appealed to the Israeli government to allow the delivery of greater humanitarian aid to the population of Palestinos as soon as possible.
Sixty thousand foods are ready to be distributed, they are in border passes, while another hundred thousand tonnes are transported to the area. This quantity is sufficient to supply the Palestinian enclave for three months, provided that access is safe, reliable and unobstructed, a United Nations official said.
