Gaza: On the way back Thousands of displaced Palestinian citizens

Thousands of displaced Palestinians are heading north, flooding the road axis along the coast of Gaza, as they attempt to return to their abandoned homes, with the ceasefire between Israel and the Palestinian Islamist organization Hamas.

Israeli troops have been withdrawn and remain outside the large urban areas, but still controlling almost 50% of the enclave.

Hamas armed men grow in many parts of the pocket.

Time now counts for the return of 48 hostages, dead and living.

The liberation will be made with the help of the International Red Cross, far from the spotlight, probably on Monday or Tuesday.

Israel has announced the names of the 2000 Palestinian prisoners to be released.

Hundreds of trucks are expected to arrive in Gaza, carrying food and medical help.

United States President Donald Trump is expected to travel to Israel and Egypt within the next few days.

Speaking to reporters at the White House, he was convinced that the truce would be adhered to, as he typically said, "they are all tired of battles".
