The Limassol Municipality has announced that it is now accepting applications for participation in the 2026 Limassol Carnival Grand Parade, one of the most exciting events in Cyprus.
Registration opens on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 and will be open daily from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, with the closing date for entries being Friday, December 12, 2025 until 1:00 pm.
Anyone wishing to take part - whether with a carnival float or a walking group - must personally visit the office of the Municipality's Cultural Services at ul. Agiou Andreou, 253 (telephone for inquiries: 25745919). There you need to fill out a special participation form and familiarize yourself with the updated rules and conditions of the parade.
The municipality emphasizes that applications by phone or online are not accepted - registration is only possible in person. Special conditions apply to regular participants:
On November 11, only those who participated in the 2025 parade and followed all the rules will be able to apply. From November 12, registration will open to new participants, as well as to those who violated the established requirements last year.
The organizers also reminded that applications with inappropriate themes or inappropriate costumes will not be accepted. In particular, teams wearing sports or overly casual clothing (such as a T-shirt and shorts) will not be allowed to participate.
The Limassol Carnival is considered one of the largest and most colorful festivals in Cyprus, annually attracting thousands of participants and spectators from all over the island.
