Limassol welcomes WeeDRIVE – The safe and reliable transport solution for teenagers in Limassol

Limassol welcomes WeeDRIVE, the first application in Cyprus that offers safe and smart transportation exclusively for teenagers, 12 to 18 years old. Through 17-seater mini-buses, real-time parent updates and state-of-the-art technology, WeeDRIVE offers teenagers the freedom to get around responsibly and parents the peace of mind that their children get to their afternoon and weekend activities on time and safely.

The WeeDRIVE application was designed to reduce the stress of parents' daily lives and offer teenagers safety and autonomy in their daily commutes. In a few simple steps, parents download the app to their mobile phone, create a family account and enter their children's weekly schedule of afternoon activities.  They then plan the routes and the app's intelligent system dynamically plans the most efficient routes, ensuring smooth and timely and stress-free transportation. WeeDRIVE turns everyday commuting into a safe and organized experience, giving parents peace of mind and teenagers autonomy.

The service includes door-to-door pickup and delivery, real-time GPS updates, and instant alerts for each route, so parents know where their kids are at all times. The mini-buses are clean, safe, fully wheelchair accessible and staffed with professional drivers, vetted and specially trained to transport children.

Plus, parents can add credits to their family wallet and plan rides up until midnight the day before, offering flexibility and total control.

WeeDRIVE serves areas of Limassol, specifically: Agios Tychona, Moutagiakka, Germasogeia, Agios Athanasios, Mesa Geitonia, Limassol Center, Kato and Pano Polemidia. The service is expected to expand to more areas of Limassol in 2026.

Hours of operation are daily from 2:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., excluding public holidays.

With the aim of sustainable mobility, the safety of students and the facilitation of everyday life for families, this new service comes to offer a modern, responsible and innovative transportation solution.

The development of the application took place within the framework of the European project metaCCAZE, in collaboration with the Municipality of Limassol, EMEL, Oxygen for Democracy and NextBike, strengthening innovation and sustainable urban mobility in Cyprus.

For more information and to get to know the service, visit the website: weedrive.app, download the application and provide your children with safe and comfortable travel.
