Phone Netanyahu and Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al -Sisi had telephone communications with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President of Egypt.
According to a written statement by the government spokesman, telephone communications were made in the context of a series of contacts of the President on the latest developments in the Middle East and in particular to reach an agreement, which concerns the first phase of the plan of the President of the United States.
President Christodoulides welcomed the agreement, emphasizing the importance of its full implementation by all aspects as a decisive step for the end of the humanitarian crisis, the decline of intensity and the formation of constant peace and security conditions in the area of the United States.
According to Konstantinos Letibiotis, in both talks, President Christodoulides highlighted the role of the Republic of Cyprus as a credible partner and a stable pillar in the Eastern Mediterranean, emphasizing the country's readiness to continue to contribute to the country.
