The final end of the war in Gaza was announced by Hamas's exiled leader in Gaza Hali al -Haya.
Al Haya said he received guarantees from the US, the Arab mediators and Turkey that the war in the Palestinian enclave was finally over.
"We declare the end of the war today and the start of the permanent truce," al -Haya said, according to Reuters.
The Israeli side, however, is pending the decision of the Council of Ministers that until recently was in progress.
The Israeli government said that within 24 hours of the ministerial session for the approval of the agreement, the agreement would enter into force and the 72 -hour period will begin to release hostages, after which Israel will control 53% of the Gaza Strip territory.
