A large amount of animal products seized the Customs Department on the Agios Dometios barricade.
Officers of the Customs Department, during the usual control of vehicles at Agios Dometios crossing, stopped a vehicle driving a Turkish Cypriot driver.
During the check, about 300 kg of fresh meat originated with the occupied territories.
The amount of animal products as well as their transport vehicle were seized by the Customs Department officials.
The seized were abandoned by the driver for disaster, and paid a total amount of € 500 for the extrajudicial compromise of the offenses and the efficiency of the vehicle.
