It is considered almost impossible to reach an agreement among the Europeans on the proposed new package of sanctions against Russia.
In statements before the Summit of Foreign Ministers in Brussels, the head of European diplomacy, Kaya Kalas, said that the proposed measures are not expected to be approved due to the negative attitude of Hungary.
Yesterday, Budapest announced that it will block the 20th package of European sanctions, due to the interruption of Russian oil deliveries through the Druzhba pipeline.
The European Union proposed new sanctions against Russia in the banking and energy sectors in early February.
