Name
Sheftalia
comes from the Turkish word şeftali, which means "peach." There is a theory that the dish is called due to the similarity of the shape and size with this fruit. Another version connects the name with the Turkish cook named Chef Ali, who may have been one of the first to prepare this dish, and his position and name was transformed into the name of the dish.

Take a package of the chefalia with you (sold in most meat stores), having previously frozen it well, olive oil, Cyprus ugel yogurt, hallumi cheese, olives and a bottle of compilation.
Sprink the whipping on the open fire, prepare a village salad (cucumbers, tomatoes, cabbage, olives, hallumi, olive oil, lemon juice and salt) and dzaziki (yogurt, cucumbers and olive oil, you can add garlic). Serve under cooled wiring!
