In a new trade reconciliation move with the United States, China has suspended for more than a year a ban on the export of some critical rare earths.
In particular it allowed the export of "gallium", "antimony" and "germanium", which are chemical elements mainly used as semiconductors in the electronics industry.
According to China's Ministry of Commerce, the suspension of the export ban will be in effect until November 27, 2026.
