Comes the 18th Euro -Mediterranean Festival of Traditional Dance

The Municipality of Limassol presents the 18th Euro -Mediterranean Festival of Traditional Dances 2025, a great celebration of culture and tradition that unites the peoples and rhythms of the Mediterranean. From October 14th to October 17th, the city of Limassol will be flooded with sounds, music and dances, hosting bands from European and Mediterranean countries, including Cyprus, Greece, Hungary and Montenegro.

Four days full of movement, color and vitality, they will offer the public a unique opportunity to get to know the rich cultural heritage of different peoples through the power of dance.

The events will begin on Tuesday, October 14, with the opening ceremony including a parade from the Municipal Palace to the Limassol Municipal Theater, where the participating bands will be presented.

On Wednesday, October 15, the Festival is being transferred to Agia Fyla Square, in front of the Church of Our Lady of Chrysayyliotissa, while on Thursday, October 16th, dance events continue at Gogen Park in Zakaki.

The closing ceremony will take place on Friday, October 17, with a parade and a great celebration on the Limassol coastal front (Molos), which will be completed in the old port square, accompanied by the Limassol Philharmonic.

All events begin at 20:00, with free admission, except for the opening ceremony, which will be held with an entry card via the Ticketmaster.cy platform.

The 18th Euro -Mediterranean Festival of Bulgarian Dances is being held with the support of OPAP Cyprus, RIK, Channel 6 and Phil. Andreou Group, and with a sponsor of Pefkos City Hotel, the Festival is now an institution that honors and promotes the tradition of Limassol and Cyprus to the international cultural storm.
