The aim of the event was to introduce the public to the Museum and the industrial history of Limassol, as well as to express gratitude to the donors whose generous contributions made its creation and enrichment possible.
Greetings were delivered by Mr. Andreas Tsouloftas, President of the Limassol Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Mr. Giannis Armeftis, Mayor of Limassol, Dr. Elias Markatzis on behalf of the Ministry of Education, and Mr. Mimis Sofokleous of the Pattichion Municipal Museum – Historical Archive and Research Centre of Limassol.
Guests had the opportunity to tour the exhibition space, discovering exhibits and machinery that narrate the story of the city’s industrial development. Special thanks were extended to the Hamboullas family, the Museum’s main sponsor, to the nineteen donor–members of the Chamber museum, as well as to the companies SignalGeneriX, the Youth Board of Cyprus, and Charalambides Christis for their valuable contribution.
The event highlighted Limassol’s industrial heritage and its connection with modern innovation and entrepreneurship.
