The strong reaction of Hamas was caused by the decision of the Israeli Prime Minister to refuse the opening of the Rafah border crossing.
The Palestinian organization maintains that this is a flagrant violation of the ceasefire agreement, and a failure to implement the commitments that Israel made to the mediators.
In a statement, Hamas said the continued closure of the crossing, including banning the exit of the wounded and the entry of vehicles and specialized teams, would lead to - among other things - delays in the recovery and return of the dead Israeli hostages.
Hamas is calling on the mediators and guarantors of the agreement to put pressure on Israel to open the border crossing.
Earlier, the Israeli prime minister's office announced that the Rafah crossing would remain closed indefinitely, linking its opening to the return of the dead hostages.
Israel's decision contradicts an earlier announcement by the Palestinian embassy in Egypt that the crossing would be opened tomorrow.
At the same time, the US State Department announced that it has reliable information about a planned attack by Hamas against civilians in Gaza, underlining that this would constitute a violation of the agreed truce.
He warned, in fact, that if Hamas launches this attack, measures will be taken to protect the people of Gaza and maintain the ceasefire.
