The Republic of Cyprus, as a state of the wider region, will take on the role it attributes to the next day for Gaza, the Deputy Minister of European Affairs said.
Speaking on the morning itinerary, Marilena Rauna pointed out that the six -point plan presented by President Christodoulides focuses on three pillars, which relate to the rebuilding of Gaza, the flow of humanitarian aid and on issues related to peace.
He stressed that Nicosia's proposals are based on the closeness of the country in the region and the fact that the Republic of Cyprus is the only member of the European Union, which is an integral part of the Middle East.
At the same time, he noted that strengthening the European Union's relations with the countries of the Middle East and the Gulf would be one of the key priorities of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
In addition, it is called upon to comment on information broadcasting to Israel on tomorrow's transition of President Christodoulides to the country, Ms Rauna said that in the context of the effort to implement yesterday's agreement, there would be visits by the President of the Republic to countries in the area, including Israel. He made it clear, however, that he was not scheduled for tomorrow, the President's transition to Israel.
