Ukraine: Work has begun to restore power to the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant

In Ukraine, work has begun to restore power to the Russian-controlled Zaporizhia nuclear power plant.

The largest nuclear power plant in Europe has been disconnected from the electricity supply network for four weeks after suffering a blow.

The International Atomic Energy Agency announced the start of the work, noting that it will last about a week.

Power restoration works have begun following an agreement between the warring parties, for a ceasefire in the area.
