A new chapter for the Middle East opens the signing of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.

The text of the agreement emphasizes - among other things - the need to eliminate extremism and radicalization, in all their forms.
At the same time, the commitment to resolve future disputes is underlined through a diplomatic approach and negotiations, and not through force or prolonged conflicts.
It is emphasized that the Middle East cannot withstand a persistent cycle of prolonged wars, dead -end negotiations or the fragmentary and selective implementation of agreed terms.
At the same time, it is stated that the common goal is peace, security and prosperity in the region, on the basis of mutual respect and common fate.
