Complete satisfaction with the findings of the European Commission in its Autumn Economic Forecast for Cyprus, the Minister of Finance, Makis Keraynos, expressed in a written statement.
The Commission has revised upwards the forecast for the growth rate of 2025, in relation to its spring forecasts, to 3.4% from 3%.
For 2026 the growth rate is revised to 2.6% from 2.5%.
The estimates, said Mr. Keravnos, rank Cyprus third in high growth rate in the Eurozone.
He adds that the report confirms the continued confidence of the European Institutions in the Cypriot economy and is a result of the Government's consistent economic policy.
