With the participation of the leaders of the 9 Mediterranean countries of the European Union, including the president of the Republic, the Med-9 Summit will take place tomorrow in Slovenia.
The work of the Synod will begin with a discussion on the Competitiveness of the Union and the Multiannual Financial Framework.
It will be followed by a working lunch with a focus on the Middle East and the participation of the King of Jordan, during which President Christodoulidis will refer to the Cyprus six-point initiative, the basis of Trump's Gaza plan.
Afterwards, the President of the Republic will have a meeting with the Prime Minister of the host country, Slovenia, during which bilateral relations will be discussed as well as issues related to the priorities of the upcoming Cypriot Presidency.
In the afternoon, Med-9 leaders will make statements.
In the evening of the same day, the president of the Republic will depart for Zagreb, Croatia, and on Tuesday he will hold consultations with the country's leadership.
Afterwards, he will depart for Brussels, where he will participate in the European Council Summit.
