A resident of Limassol turned off the electricity in houses and collected debts on payment

On February 17, the Limassol police detained a resident of the city who pretended to be an employee of the Electrification Department (EAC). He turned off the supply of electricity in the houses, after which he collected from the tenants to pay debts and again connected electricity. The Limassol court arrested him for six days.

According to Phileleftheros, on February 15 and 16, EAC employee received 180 and 500 euros from two homeowners, and at the same time stole 100 euros. It is expected that he will be sent for treatment to the atalass psychiatric hospital. On hospitalization, a doctor insisted who examined the arrested citizen.
