Saudi Arabia's foreign minister, Prince al-Saud, said he does not think the Donald Trump administration is increasing the risk of a military conflict between Israel and Iran, commenting on the possibility of a wider Middle East flare-up.
The US president has made it clear that he is not in favor of conflict, the head of Saudi diplomacy said.
Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Prince al-Saud expressed hope that Trump's approach to Iran would prompt Tehran to seek cooperation with Washington in resolving the issue of its nuclear program.
