You.Me.We: When Youth Become Ambassadors of Peace and Solidarity

The "You.Me.We" international youth exchange, which took place in Agros from October 26 to November 2, 2025, was successfully completed. The program was organized by the Cypriot organization Youth Dynamics in collaboration with the Belgian JES vzw and hosted 44 young men and women aged 18-30 from Cyprus and Belgium.

The central objective of the exchange was to strengthen intercultural understanding and cooperation between young people, through the promotion of fundamental European values: Peace, Equality, Solidarity, Respect and Acceptance of Diversity.

A Program with Vision and Impact

During the week, participants engaged in a rich program of non-formal learning that included:

Workshops on themes such as gender equality, social inclusion and peaceful coexistence Intercultural evenings with the exchange of traditions, tastes and music Group games and outdoor activities to strengthen trust and cooperation Creating an awareness campaign with messages in favor of acceptance and social cohesion Visits to local institutions and communities for experiential understanding of social challenges

The program was a unique opportunity for young people to cultivate active citizenship skills, develop a sense of social responsibility and build intercultural friendships and networks of cooperation.

The “You.Me.We” exchange left a deep impression on the participants, strengthening their European identity and encouraging them to take an active role in their communities as ambassadors of European values.
