A contact phone number exclusively for recalls of Takata airbags in Demio model cars, Mazda Cyprus will announce, in order to serve its customers, while at the same time apologizing for the inconvenience caused, following the announcement of their recall from Cypriot roads until a replacement is made.

According to a post by the company on its personal Facebook account, it said that, "Dear customers, we would like to inform you that, due to the increased volume of calls to Geo's main phone. Pavlides Automotive, a specific contact number will be announced shortly, which will exclusively serve the issue of Takata airbag recalls.
He finally added that, "we understand the inconvenience and are working hard to better resolve the issue."
It is recalled that in a statement the Department of Road Transport informed that according to information received by the company GEO PAVLIDES AUTOMOTIVE from the manufacturer MAZDA for MAZDA DEMIO vehicles, which have been imported as used from countries that are not members of the European Union (without European type approval), and are included in the list posted on the website of the Department of Road Transport, are subject to a recall to replace the TAKATA brand airbag in its place passenger.
"This information concerns MAZDA DEMIO vehicles that were active, i.e. they had a valid traffic license or were declared immobilized on 11/14/2024," the statement added.
It is further stated that, therefore, the owners of these vehicles should contact the distributor of the manufacturer in Cyprus which is the company GEO PAVLIDES AUTOMOTIVE.
"Regarding other recalls (such as the airbag in the driver's seat) relevant information is awaited. Any newer and/or updated information will be posted on the TOM website," the announcement concludes.
